Our Story
Commercial Water Dive was founded by Torry Goodall to bring certified, professional commercial diving services to South West Western Australia. Based in Bunbury, we serve government, civil, mining, maritime and industrial clients across the region — with a focus on compliance and quality, and the responsiveness, value and direct communication that only a dedicated local operator can provide.
Torry established Commercial Water Dive because he saw a gap in the market: organisations in the South West needed access to reliable, fully compliant commercial diving services without having to mobilise crews from Perth or the Eastern States. By basing the business locally, we can reduce travel costs and offer a direct relationship between the client and the diver doing the work.
Meet Torry Goodall
Torry Goodall is the founder, owner and principal diver of Commercial Water Dive. He holds ADAS commercial diving certification, a current MSIC clearance, and is AS/NZS 2299.1:2015 compliant.
With hands-on experience across dam inspections, pipeline surveys, marine structure assessments, search and recovery operations and specialist technology deployments, Torry brings practical expertise to every project. He is the single point of contact for every engagement — from initial scoping and quoting through to dive execution and final reporting.
Torry’s approach is straightforward: do the work properly, document it thoroughly, communicate clearly, and deliver on time. No layers of project managers, no subcontracted crews — when you engage Commercial Water Dive, you deal directly with the diver who will be in the water.
